The literary season has brought its share of headliners and revealed gems, or not.

Editions ALeP have joined in the fun by publishing Bernadette M. Ferreira's third opus:

"From the wildflowers."

This novel, which deals with a difficult subject, is written without unnecessary embellishments and approaches the subject of the rape of a teenage girl with exceptional mastery. We find in this novel the mixed breaths of the psychological thriller and the great classics of the last century. It shakes us, it upsets us and questions us, it highlights Nietzsche's phrase:

"What doesn't kill me makes me stronger."

The public was not mistaken and gave this novel a remarkable reception.
